  • The life span of the battery is dependent on several factors, including:
    - How frequently the sensor samples data
    - How frequently the sensor transmits data
    - Temperature

    For applications where dynamic or high frequency sampling is required, Viotel recommends powering the devices with DC/Solar Power (12V 3A) for continuous operation. We can assist with the supply of ancillary equipment required. 


    Replacement batteries can be purchased at Viotel. 

  • All of Viotel's devices have built in cellular connectivity via LTE-M, NBIoT or 4G.

  • Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is a common practice to improve account security.

  • No, all updates are completed Over-the-Air; site visits are not required to update your devices.

  • Viotel generates a daily back-up of the database to ensure minimal disruption & immediate recovery if an event occurs. 

  • Viotel's sensors have been tested and certified as releasing no detectable RF emissions. They are designed to operate in high RF and EMF environments

  • There are a range of options based on the type of structure you are monitoring. Each device comes with an adhesive strip to help temporarily fix the device in place. For RC structures, simply use any suitable M4 anchor. Use a cover-meter to avoid reinforcement. For steel structures, Viotel can provide standard mounting brackets and/or plates that you can use with straps & or tac-weld.
